*Decompression VI*

To get the decompression VI's needed to decompress the compressed science data packets, we use the VI Package Manager.

Download the free version of the VI Package Manager installer here:

Run installer, choose all defaults.

Run the VI Package Manager.

It defaults to 2017 64 bit, but we are using the 32 bit version, so switch to just "2017".

Search for and select OpenG LabVIEW ZIP Library and install (install all libraries that show up as dependent)

Now OpenG should appear on your palette. Use the ZLIB Deflate VI to decompress the data.

To download the zip file, go to ni.com support, search N6700B, select and download LabVIEW Plug and Play Instrument Driver for LabVIEW 2017. (You will have to log in to download it).

Download the zip file, extract it into the LabVIEW instrument library folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2017\instr.lib.
